ADAFSA issues closure order for Yummy Indian Bite restaurant following persistent non-compliance with public health regulations

ABU DHABI, UAE:The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the immediate closure of the Yummy Indian Bite restaurant following a series of critical food safety violations and a persistent failure to comply with hygiene standards.

The enforcement action targeting the popular eatery, which operates under commercial licence number CN-2837801, comes after field inspectors documented repeated breaches of the emirate’s rigorous public health codes. Officials confirmed the establishment failed to implement necessary corrective actions despite receiving multiple formal warnings and citations during previous inspections.

According to an official statement issued by ADAFSA, the administrative closure was executed under the statutory provisions of Abu Dhabi Food Law No. (2) of 2008. The authority stated that the restaurant’s operational practices posed an immediate, direct risk to public health, necessitating a suspension of all food preparation and commercial activities to safeguard consumers.

ADAFSA’s strict regulatory framework mandates that the establishment will remain closed to the public until the management addresses all outstanding compliance issues. The restaurant must overhaul its food handling protocols, meet all mandatory hygiene benchmarks, and pass a comprehensive re-inspection by municipal food safety officers before it will be permitted to resume operations.
