  • Delivering integrated and sustainable traffic services in line with international best practices
  • Developing connectivity and integration channels between relevant systems to ensure fast and accurate data exchange

Dubai:The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police General Headquarters, represented by the General Department of Traffic, have signed a cooperation agreement to enhance institutional integration and develop traffic system services. The agreement aims to raise the efficiency of services delivered to customers and support the highest standards of quality and excellence in traffic operations management.

The agreement was signed by Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Ahmed Hasan Mahboob, CEO of RTA’s Licensing Agency, in the presence of officials from both sides. The signing ceremony took place at Dubai Police Officers Club.

The agreement stems from a shared commitment to establishing stronger cooperation frameworks and elevating joint work between the two entities. It reflects RTA and Dubai Police’s drive to strengthen their strategic partnership and unify efforts in support of Dubai Government’s direction towards digital transformation and the advancement of government services, through the exchange of expertise and information and the development of joint working mechanisms related to traffic services and systems.

The agreement also reflects the commitment of both organisations to sustained cooperation and coordination in achieving their strategic objectives. It further underscores their shared drive to enhance quality of life in Dubai by delivering integrated and sustainable traffic services in line with international best practices.

It focuses on strengthening technical and operational cooperation between the two sides and developing connectivity and integration channels between relevant systems. This will ensure fast and accurate data exchange, improve the customer experience, and raise the efficiency of procedures and services linked to the traffic sector.

Both parties affirmed that the agreement marks an important step towards reinforcing joint action and developing Dubai’s transport and traffic system. It aligns with the emirate’s strategic vision and reinforces its global standing as a leading city in delivering smart and innovative services.

They added that the agreement will support both sides’ efforts to achieve the highest levels of traffic safety, improve the efficiency of operational processes, and develop digital solutions that keep pace with future developments and meet the needs of customers and partners.
