Carriers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah report schedule adjustments to select destinations, urging passengers to verify flight status before heading to airports.

DUBAI, Sept 23 :Airlines operating out of the United Arab Emirates faced localized flight disruptions on Wednesday, prompting cancellations and delays across major aviation hubs including Dubai International (DXB), Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah International Airport.

The schedule adjustments have impacted operations for primary UAE carriers, including Emirates, flydubai, Air Arabia, and Etihad Airways. Services between the UAE and several regional and international destinations—such as Amman, Abha, Kuwait City, Basra, Nairobi, Lahore, Tehran, and Kathmandu—experienced targeted cancellations and prolonged departure delays throughout the morning.

Airport and airline operations desks confirmed that despite the scattered setbacks, the majority of scheduled flights continue to operate as planned. Ground support teams and customer service divisions are working to accommodate passengers booked on affected sectors, offering rebooking options and updates through designated digital channels.

Aviation authorities and operating carriers have advised all ticketed passengers to verify their flight timings via official airline apps or customer care platforms prior to leaving for the terminal. Travellers whose flights face extended delays or cancellations have been urged not to proceed to the check-in counters without prior rebooking confirmation.

Airlines are closely tracking operational windows across regional flight corridors and regional air traffic management networks to stabilize schedules and clear backlogs across the three hubs.
