Students from KG to Higher Secondary levels showcase innovative eco-friendly models linking mathematics, nature, and daily life.

DUBAI: India International School Sharjah hosted a spectacular mathematical and science exhibition titled “Math-O-Art,” seamlessly blending the worlds of mathematics, art, nature, and society. The comprehensive exhibition featured creative, eco-friendly models crafted by students across all academic tiers, from the Kindergarten (KG) section up to the Higher Secondary level, drawing a massive turnout of visitors from educational institutions across the emirate.

The core philosophy behind “Math-O-Art” was to spotlight the intrinsic connection between mathematical concepts and everyday human existence. The students’ imaginative displays creatively demonstrated how numbers govern nature and how mathematical logic can be applied to foster sustainable, eco-friendly societal living.

The mega event drew widespread attention from the regional academic community, with teachers and student delegations from various schools across Sharjah visiting the campus to witness the young innovators’ work. The interactive displays offered visitors practical insights into complex theories translated into visual masterpieces.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Dr. Manju Reji, Principal of India International School, who lauded the students’ critical thinking and innovative capabilities. Prominent dignitaries from the PACE Education Group offered their felicitations, including Managing Director Salman Ibrahim and Senior Director Asif Mohammed, who underscored the group’s commitment to fostering experiential learning.

The grand execution of the event was well-supported by Assistant Director Shaha Azad and Vice Principal Shifana Muizz. The massive showcase was meticulously conceptualized and brought to fruition under the expert guidance and coordination of faculty members Farhan, Izzuddin, and Satheesan.

The intersection of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with Art—commonly referred to as STEAM education—is gaining massive traction globally in 2026. Academic institutions in the UAE have been actively prioritizing these interdisciplinary exhibitions to nurture real-world problem-solving skills and environmental consciousness among expatriate and local students alike, in alignment with national sustainability goals.
