The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department pavilion offers visitors interactive access to hunting, equestrian, and camel racing legislation at ADNEC

ABU DHABI — September 1, 2026 : The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is detailing the legal frameworks behind the UAE’s traditional heritage sports at the 23rd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). Running until September 6 at the ADNEC Centre, the department’s pavilion aims to educate the public on the strict regulations governing hunting, equestrian activities, and camel racing.

Through interactive workshops, digital publications, and specialized educational activities, the ADJD is providing legal guidance to enthusiasts of the country’s most popular heritage sports. The initiative focuses on promoting responsible practices while ensuring participants understand their legal obligations.

Senior officials, including ADJD Undersecretary Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri and Abu Dhabi Attorney General Counsellor Ali Mohamed Al Blooshi, inspected the pavilion’s offerings this week. Al Abri emphasized the department’s ongoing strategy to make legislative information accessible to all segments of society, using the massive public draw of ADIHEX as a platform to boost regulatory awareness.

A major feature of the department’s exhibition space is a showcase of handmade artistic products crafted by inmates from local correctional and rehabilitation centers. The display directly supports the emirate’s rehabilitation programs, aimed at equipping inmates with practical skills to ease their eventual reintegration into the community.

The pavilion caters to a broad demographic. A dedicated section offers legal awareness sessions and psychological consultations specifically designed for children. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Legal and Community Awareness Centre, known as “Masouliya,” is running targeted programs to elevate general legal literacy among attendees.

Legal professionals and sports enthusiasts can access the ADJD’s comprehensive digital library, which houses extensive publications on the UAE sports sector. This includes specialized literature issued by the Abu Dhabi branch of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Visitors can also review the Sports and Law journal, featuring deep dives into international sports arbitration, sports dispute resolution, and regulatory frameworks established by global federations and the International Olympic Committee.
