Ajman, United Arab Emirates – 18 September 2026: The Ajman Department of Finance has reinforced its commitment to excellence through its participation in ‘Our Happy Summer 2026’, securing two awards during the programme’s closing ceremony. ‘Play It Right!’ received the ‘Best Entertainment Programme’ award, while ‘Ajman Mal Plus’ was recognised as the ‘Best Specialised Programme by Government Entities’. The awards were presented by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi during the programme’s closing ceremony.

The achievement reflects the Department’s approach to developing innovative awareness programmes that combine engagement, entertainment, and modern technologies to make financial literacy more accessible and relevant. Through interactive experiences, the programmes helped translate financial concepts into practical knowledge and skills while creating opportunities for participants to learn, engage, and develop future-ready capabilities.

‘Play It Right!’ received the ‘Best Entertainment Programme’ award in recognition of its success in delivering an interactive experience that brought together games, physical activities, heritage, and challenges through a series of individual and group competitions. The programme created an engaging atmosphere characterised by enthusiasm and positive competition while encouraging teamwork and communication among participants. It also presented elements of Emirati heritage in a contemporary format, strengthening family and community connections.

Meanwhile, ‘Ajman Mal Plus’ received the ‘Best Specialised Programme by Government Entities’ award for its distinctive approach to integrating financial literacy, artificial intelligence, and future-ready skills. Through an interactive learning experience, the programme provided participants with opportunities to strengthen their financial knowledge, explore the potential of emerging technologies, and understand how these tools can support informed decision-making and future planning.

HE Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Ajman Department of Finance, affirmed that receiving the two awards reflects the Department’s commitment to developing innovative experiences that deliver tangible value to the community. He highlighted that combining knowledge, engagement, and modern technologies is a key pillar of the Department’s efforts to strengthen financial literacy among younger generations and equip them with future-ready skills.

He said: “We are proud of this achievement, which reflects our commitment to delivering impactful initiatives that respond to the needs and aspirations of the community, enhance quality of life, and contribute to building a more aware and empowered society. We will continue to develop our programmes in line with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030 and support the emirate’s sustainable development journey.”

The achievement further reflects the Ajman Department of Finance’s continued focus on developing programmes and initiatives that strengthen financial literacy, encourage informed financial practices, and expand its positive community impact. It also highlights the Department’s commitment to aligning its initiatives with the emirate’s development priorities and the strategic objectives of the Government of Ajman, supporting quality of life and enhancing the effectiveness of government efforts.
