Abu Dhabi | March 3, 2026: Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Amri has paid tribute to the residents of the United Arab Emirates for their remarkable show of solidarity and loyalty following the recent missile and drone attacks targeting the country.

In an article published Tuesday morning, Dr. Al-Amri described the attack—carried out through a barrage of ballistic missiles and drones targeting civilian facilities—as a stark reminder of the challenges nations may face even during periods of stability.

Despite the scale of the assault, the UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed a high level of preparedness, successfully intercepting more than 165 ballistic missiles and 541 drones. Authorities reported that life across the country continued as normal, with only limited material damage caused by falling debris and a small number of drones that penetrated defense systems.

“A Humanitarian and Social Moment”

Dr. Al-Amri emphasized that the true significance of the events extended beyond military success. According to him, the most profound impact was humanitarian and social — reflected in the spontaneous and heartfelt reactions of UAE residents.

He noted that people of diverse nationalities, including Europeans, Americans, Arabs, Asians, and others, publicly expressed their solidarity with the UAE. Many residents voiced their love for the country and affirmed their readiness to stand by it during difficult times.

“This was not merely a fleeting reaction,” Dr. Al-Amri wrote, describing it as living proof of the strength of the Emirati model in building a cohesive and multicultural society.

A Model Built on Justice and Inclusion

Highlighting the foundations of the UAE, Dr. Al-Amri said the country is built on principles of justice, equality, and respect for human and cultural diversity. Residents, regardless of nationality, enjoy clearly defined rights and responsibilities within a legal framework that places human dignity at its core.

He added that it was therefore no surprise that residents reciprocated this environment of respect with loyalty and solidarity during a time of crisis.

The article also referenced previous moments — including the COVID-19 pandemic and severe weather events — when citizens and residents stood united, reinforcing the country’s resilience under the leadership’s guidance.

“Belonging Is Not Measured by a Passport”

Concluding his message, Dr. Al-Amri offered a heartfelt salute to all residents of the UAE

“You have proven that belonging is not measured by a passport alone,” he wrote, “and that loyalty can grow from kindness, justice, and respect.”

He added that when individuals live in a country that honors them, it is natural for them to respond with love and gratitude — a sentiment that, he said, was clearly demonstrated in the wake of the recent crisis.
