Dubai immigration officers sweep top titles in both men’s and women’s fitness categories in major UAE government tournament
DUBAI — The General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai secured a dominant victory at the 2026 Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) CrossFit Championship, claiming four top podium positions across the men’s and women’s divisions.

Captain Rashid Mohammed Al Marri took first place in the men’s competition, followed closely by Sergeant Mohammed Hussain Ali in second place. GDRFA officers replicated that success in the women’s division, where Warrant Officer 2 Ahlam Nabil Al Banna secured first place and Warrant Officer 1 Maryam Ahmed Al Baloushi placed third.
The ICP CrossFit Championship tests athletes across functional movements, combining Olympic weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, cardio endurance, and high-intensity mobility drills. Competitors were judged on total repetition volume within strict time caps alongside minimum completion times for high-stress physical challenges.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, commended the officers for their athletic performance and commitment to physical readiness. He noted that the wins reflect the department’s ongoing strategy to promote physical fitness, stress resilience, and high athletic performance across its workforce.
