Air defense systems neutralize incoming aerial threats over strategic bases as armed forces raise operational readiness across the country.

KUWAIT CITY:Kuwait’s Air Defense Forces have repelled a series of targeted attacks aimed at key military installations across the country, neutralizing incoming projectiles before they reached strategic assets, defense officials confirmed.

Automated air surveillance systems detected multiple airborne targets entering Kuwaiti airspace on trajectories aimed at key strategic bases. Countermeasure batteries were instantly engaged, successfully intercepting and destroying the incoming drones and missiles mid-flight.

Military spokespersons confirmed that the defensive response prevented direct impacts on critical installations, ensuring zero casualties among military personnel and avoiding structural damage to defense facilities.

“Our air defense units operated with total accuracy, eliminating the aerial threats prior to reaching their designated target zones,” a military defense representative stated. “All air defense networks across the nation remain fully active.”

Following the interception, military command heightened alert levels for all branches of the armed forces, including naval units patrolling territorial waters and ground units guarding border zones. Security protocols around energy infrastructure, oil transport terminals, and commercial transportation corridors have also been reinforced.

Kuwait continues to maintain close coordination with regional allies and international coalition partners to monitor airspace security and ensure broader stability across the region.
