Adarsh Rio George chosen as President and Wilfi George as General Secretary to lead the 24-member executive committee in the Emirates.
DUBAI: AMICOS UAE, the United Arab Emirates chapter of the global alumni association of Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, has officially announced its new 24-member executive committee for the 2026–2028 tenure. The newly elected leadership has officially taken charge with an aim to further unite the vast network of former students residing across various emirates and spearhead impactful community initiatives.
The newly elected governing body will be led by Adarsh Rio George as President, Wilfi George as General Secretary, and Mahesh Krishnan as Treasurer. Following their appointment, the newly elected leaders expressed their commitment to fostering camaraderie and collaboration among members while expanding the global alumni network.
The committee also emphasized its mission to provide strong mentorship and career guidance to the younger generation of Ivanians arriving in the Gulf region.
AMICOS UAE serves as a prominent platform connecting hundreds of alumni from the prestigious Thiruvananthapuram-based institution who are now well-placed across the UAE. Over the years, the association has been actively involved in driving social, cultural, and welfare activities within the diaspora community.
The upcoming term will see the implementation of enhanced social responsibility initiatives, health awareness campaigns, family get-together functions, and cultural events. The leadership confirmed that the groundwork has already begun to further strengthen the unity and collective impact of the Mar Ivanios family in the UAE.
