Dubai. Roads and Transport Authority. 26 October 2026: The 121st open auction of distinguished vehicle number plates, organised by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) last Saturday, generated total proceeds of AED 65.721 million.

The auction results reaffirm the success of RTA’s strategy for its open and online auctions, which is based on neutrality, transparency and equal opportunities for all participants seeking to acquire distinguished number plates. These plates hold symbolic value for their owners and reflect their individual preferences.
