Shipment carrying infant formula, essential medicines, and winter clothing departs from Ras Al Khaimah to support displaced Palestinian families.
RAS AL KHAIMAH, : —The United Arab Emirates on Friday dispatched a humanitarian aid aircraft carrying 100 tonnes of critical relief supplies from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to the Gaza Strip, marking the latest deployment under the country’s ongoing ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’ relief campaign.
The specialized cargo flight was organized through a coordinated effort by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Emirati-Palestinian Friendship Club, and the Dar Al Ber Society. It aims to address acute shortages of basic necessities faced by displaced Palestinian families amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
According to relief coordinators, the shipment consists primarily of high-priority supplies, including specialized infant formula, essential medical consignments, and protective clothing designed to mitigate the harsh living conditions in temporary shelters.
Hammoud Al Afari, the Relief Operations Coordinator for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, stated that the UAE leadership remains committed to sustaining a continuous lifeline of humanitarian and medical assistance to the Gaza Strip. Al Afari emphasized that the mobilization of the nation’s logistical capabilities relies heavily on structured cooperation with local and international humanitarian partners to ensure aid reaches those in desperate need.
“This initiative is designed to guarantee the sustained delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to Gaza,” Al Afari said, adding that the relief pipeline aims to strengthen civilian resilience and directly alleviate the impact of the severe humanitarian deficits on the ground.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 represents the core framework of the UAE’s humanitarian response in the region, under which thousands of tonnes of food, medical infrastructure, and shelter materials have been systematically delivered via air bridges, maritime corridors, and land convoys.
