The Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers condolences and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured after a powerful earthquake causes casualties and structural damage across affected regions.

ABU DHABI :The United Arab Emirates has officially expressed its solidarity with Indonesia after a powerful earthquake struck the Southeast Asian nation, leaving multiple people dead, scores injured, and causing widespread damage to infrastructure.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement offering its deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, the Indonesian government, and its people, while wishing a swift recovery to those injured in the disaster.

Emergency response teams in Indonesia continue to clear debris and assess the full extent of structural damage across the impacted region following the major seismic event. Early reports indicate significant destruction to residential structures, public facilities, and municipal roads, prompting local authorities to deploy search and rescue teams.

“The United Arab Emirates stands in solidary with the Republic of Indonesia during this difficult time,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted in an official statement, emphasizing the UAE’s ongoing commitment to international support and humanitarian solidarity during natural disasters.

Geological agencies in the region continue to monitor aftershocks, as emergency personnel work around the clock to assist displaced families, restore power lines, and deliver medical relief. Indonesian disaster management officials are coordinating localized relief operations, prioritizing the restoration of vital services and the stabilization of compromised infrastructure.

Diplomatic missions are closely monitoring developments as emergency assistance and relief planning progress across the affected provinces.
