DUBAI: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced a temporary traffic diversion at the Cairo Street Roundabout on Al Khaleej Street to facilitate road works. The traffic restrictions will be in place starting from 10:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, until 5:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2026.
Key Traffic Changes & Restrictions:
- From Infinity Bridge: Vehicles heading towards Al Mamzar from the Infinity Bridge will face closures on both the left turn and the U-turn at the roundabout.
- From Cairo Street: The U-turn option for motorists coming directly from Cairo Street will be completely closed during this period.
The RTA has urged all motorists and commuters to plan their journeys ahead of time and use alternative routes to avoid potential delays. Drivers are advised to strictly adhere to the temporary directional signage installed along the route to ensure a safe and smooth flow of traffic.
